A trauma plate, also known as "Hard Armor Plate," typically offers protection levels NIJ Level 3 (III) and 4 (IV) as a supplement.

There are two main types of hard armor plate:

• ICW (In Conjunction With): This type of hard armor plate only achieves the specified level of protection when used in conjunction with a bulletproof vest (Soft Armor).
• SA (Stand Alone): This type of hard armor plate can be used as a standalone plate without the need for additional protection from a bulletproof vest.

• Single Curved: Has a simple arc that follows the body's natural shape, providing a good fit.
• Multi Curved: This trauma plate is designed with extra focus on the details and follows the body's contours, making it more comfortable.
