EA Multi Curved Hard Armor Plate IV ICW (AL203) is designed to fit our bulletproof and stab-resistant vests, Impact and Xtreme, which you can find here. This hard armor plate is made with a core of high-density ceramic (Al2O3), which is supported by layered polymer composite fiber.

The plate has been tested against, among others, an AK47 – see details of the test below. The hard armor plate has a multi-curve shape, which means it is delivered as a single unit for easy and direct insertion into the vest. The curved design provides an advantage in terms of fit and comfort, as the plate follows the body's natural curves.

ICW (In Conjunction With) indicates that the hard armor plate should be used together with "Soft Body Armor," which are bulletproof vests at level IIIA, to achieve the specified level of protection. The hard armor plate weighs from 2.1 kg.
