The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standard is the leading certification for body armor in the USA. It defines various protection levels based on the armor's ability to stop specific types of ammunition at certain speeds. For bulletproof vests, these levels are:

NIJ Level IIA: This standard is designed to stop 9mm and .40 S&W ammunition fired from short barrels.

NIJ Level II: This standard is higher and is designed to stop 9mm and .357 Magnum ammunition.

NIJ Level IIIA: This level is designed to provide protection against more powerful ammunition such as .357 SIG and .44 Magnum.

NIJ Level III: This standard is intended to protect against high-velocity ammunition like 7.62mm FMJ, typically used in rifles.

NIJ Level IV: The highest standard, capable of stopping rifle ammunition. EA-TEX: This is our own developed material, designed to provide superior protection while being light and flexible. Its advanced composition ensures effective absorption and dispersion of the force from incoming projectiles. EA-TEX is very similar to comparable technologies like Gore-Tex. This membrane ensures maximum breathability, which guarantees comfort for the end user and helps protect the fibers in the insert.

TWARON: Is a para-aramid synthetic fiber, known for its strength and durability. It is comparable to kevlar and is widely used in the making of bulletproof and stab-resistant vests. Its high-performance qualities contribute to our vests’ ability to withstand extreme impacts.
