Hard Armor Plate for mounting on the front and back of bulletproof vests

EA Multi Curved Hard Armor Plate IV SA (AL203) is designed for the Impact and Xtreme models – our bulletproof and stab-resistant vests, which you can find here. The armor plate is made with a high-density core of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), supported by layered polymer composite fiber. It has been tested against, among others, an AK47 – see the test details below.

The armor plate has a multi-curve shape, which means it is designed as one unit for direct and easy insertion into the vest. The curved shape ensures optimal fit and comfort, as the plate adapts to the body's curves. SA (Stand Alone) indicates that the armor plate can be used without the need for a "Soft Body Armor". The plate weighs 3 kg.

Hard armor plate has been tested against the following threats

Tested against 6 shots from 7.62*39mm AK47 MSC with cartridges with a specific mass of 7.7g and an impact of 740m/s4 according to NIJ std 0101.06 and 5.56x45 Nato according to international tests
