EA Single Curved Hard Armor Plate IV SA (SiC) is designed to fit in our Impact and Xtreme models – our bulletproof and stab-resistant vests, which you can find here. The armor plate is made from our strongest material, silicon carbide (SiC), which is harder and more resistant than our alumina (AL203) and polyethylene (PE) armor plates.

This plate has been tested against, among others, AK47 – see the test details below. It is designed as a single curve plate, which means it is delivered as one unit that can easily be inserted into the vest. The curved shape ensures an optimal fit and comfort, as the plate follows the body's natural curves.

SA (Stand Alone) indicates that the armor plate can be used without a "Soft Bodyarmor". The plate weighs from 2.2 kg.

The hard armor plate has been tested against the following threats
