Niobium® Duty IV – Multi-threat body armor vest

Niobium® Duty IV is a sturdy multi-threat soft body armor vest, designed to provide optimal protection against both firearms as well as knives and sharp weapons, while ensuring a secure fit and long service life.

The core of the vest consists of Niobium® SPM.3A,1.2304, a hybrid soft armor panel made from UHMWPE and UD Aramid fibers. The combination of these materials makes the panel both flexible and light, while delivering extremely low penetration against all NIJ 0115.00 STD knives and sharp weapons. The panel also has a very low Back Face Signature against 9x19 mm FMJ and .44 Magnum SJHP REMINGTON, tested according to the NIJ 0101.04 standard.

The vest is equipped with a four-point adjustment system on the shoulders and waist, making it quick and easy to put on and take off. The wide shoulder and waist sections ensure a firm but comfortable fit. Niobium® Duty IV provides 360° body coverage, and the vest’s hook-and-loop fastenings meet MIL SPEC F AA-55126B requirements. Front and back pockets allow for the insertion of hard armor plates measuring 25x30 cm to upgrade the protection level to III or IV, ensuring the wearer is protected against rifle shots.

The outer layer in CORDURA® combined with 3D SPACER Coolmax® fresh lining provides a durable yet light vest with antibacterial and temperature-regulating properties. The highly compression-resistant Coolmax® liner ensures effective air circulation and moisture removal, preventing mold growth.

The vest has loop fields on the front and back for ID or service logos, and with a thickness of 12 mm and a weight of only 2.95 kg (size Large), Niobium® Duty IV is the ideal choice for professionals who need reliable, light, and durable protection against unexpected threats.
