Hard Armor Plate for mounting on the front and back of bulletproof vests

EA Single Curved Hard Armor Plate III ICW (AL2O3) is designed for the Impact and Xtreme models – our bulletproof and stab-resistant vests, which you can find here. The plate consists of a high-density ceramic core of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), supported by a layered polymer composite fiber. It has been tested against, among others, the AK47 – see further details about the test below.

This hard armor plate has a simple curved shape, which means that it comes as one unit, ready for easy insertion into the vest. The curved design provides an improved fit and increased comfort, as the plate follows the body's natural shapes.

ICW (In Conjunction With) means that the hard armor plate must be used together with soft body armor at level IIIA to achieve the specified level of protection. The weight of the plate is 1.8 kg.

The Hard armor plate has been tested against the following threats
