EA Multi Curved Hard Armor Plate IV SA (AL203) is designed for the Impact and Xtreme models – our bullet- and stab-resistant vests. The hard armor plate is made with a high-density core of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), supported by layered polymer composite fiber. It has been tested against, among others, an AK47 – see the test details below.

The hard armor plate has a multi-curve shape, which means it is designed as one unit for direct and easy insertion into the vest. The curved shape ensures optimal fit and comfort, as the plate adapts to the body's curves. SA (Stand Alone) indicates that the hard armor plate can be used without the need for a "Soft Body Armor". The plate weighs 2.24 kg.
