Cordura is widely used in tactical gear for military, police, and special forces. The material is primarily used in linear densities of 1000D and 500D. Linear density is the ratio of the fabric's weight to its length, measured in denier. The higher the value, the denser and heavier the fabric. CORDURA 1000D has very high technical properties: tensile strength of about 3000 N, tear strength of about 150 N, and abrasion resistance of over 50,000 cycles. The material is used for clothing, bags, and cases and lasts for many years. CORDURA stands for durability, reliability, and style, surpassing competitors in strength.
YKK is the world leader in the production of zippers and fasteners. 90% of the world's zippers are produced in 71 factories globally. The name means "Yoshida Factory," named after the founder, who started producing clothing fasteners in the 1930s. Success was achieved through collaboration with leading clothing brands and strict quality standards. The production of high-quality fasteners was kept secret for a long time, allowing YKK to quickly surpass competitors.
