The shovel blade is made of carbon steel 1050 (42–46 HRC), which provides high strength and durability, while the ergonomic plastic handle ensures a good grip. The shovel comes with a sturdy carrying sheath made of 600D polyester with PVC coating, which protects against dirt and moisture.
