Specifikationer

Field pants from M-Tac combine convenience, practicality, durability, and comfort. Made from durable American NYCO fabric (50% cotton, 50% nylon). This is the optimal combination of durability and breathability, the same quality used in the production of US Army uniforms.

The pants have a loose fit and use reliable fittings from the world-renowned YKK company. Practical wide pockets allow you to carry all necessary equipment. The design also includes compartments for knee pads, which assist in performing tactical tasks. Particularly exposed areas are reinforced with double-layer fabric. Wide belt loops are designed for use with a belt up to 5.5 cm in width. The pant leg cuffs can be adjusted with an elastic cord.

This model is ideal not only for military personnel but also for all fans of military-style clothing.

The "MULTICAM" camouflage was developed by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center, known as U.S. Army Natick Labs. The development of the MULTICAM pattern took over eight years of expeditions, scientific research, data analysis, and practical field tests. It was designed as a universal camouflage solution for the U.S. Army. The need for new camouflage became evident after Operation Desert Storm in Iraq, where existing patterns such as Woodland and Tri-Color Desert did not provide sufficient concealment. Even with the introduction of universal digital camouflage during operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, the situation was not significantly improved. It became clear that there was a need for a single universal pattern that allowed soldiers to blend into any terrain at any distance.

The MULTICAM pattern works by exploiting the limitations of human vision and eye structure. At long distances, the camouflage consists of large, blurred patches, while small, rounded elements are used up close, especially against vegetated backgrounds. Developers found that predominant backgrounds worldwide share similar shades of green and brown. An important discovery was that black, often used in camouflage patterns, does not actually exist in nature. By integrating their findings and conducting computer simulations of over a thousand images, the MULTICAM pattern was created.

Near Infrared (NIR) technology is used by the U.S. Department of Defense to minimize detection by NIR electro-optical sensors. NIR uniforms are made from a special fabric that helps soldiers maintain a temperature similar to their surroundings, making them harder to detect. Additionally, NIR technology reduces light reflection, making the uniforms less visible under low light conditions.
