Due to its unique properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment for military, police, and special forces. It is primarily used in materials with linear density of 1000D and 500D. Linear density is the ratio of the fabric's weight to length and is measured in denier. The higher the number, the denser and heavier the fabric. The physical and technical properties of CORDURA 1000D are very high: tensile strength about 3000 N, tear strength about 150 N, abrasion resistance over 50,000 cycles. The fabric is used for clothing, bags, and pockets. Products made from CORDURA withstand time and distance. CORDURA stands for durability, reliability, and style and is unmatched in strength.
Woojin plastic® is a globally recognized manufacturer of high-quality plastic fittings. Woojin, founded in Korea in 1979 and later moved to the USA, is known for their ACETAL components, which provide the material with properties such as hydrophobicity, abrasion resistance, strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability. ACETAL also ensures consistent dimensions and is indispensable in humid environments without loss of quality compared to polyamide.
YKK is the world leader in zippers and fasteners, producing 90% of all zippers in 71 factories worldwide. YKK stands for "Yoshida Factory," named after the founder, who started zipper production in the 1930s. Success was achieved through collaboration with leading clothing brands and the use of particularly strict quality standards. For a long time, the production of quality zipper machines was kept strictly secret, allowing it to quickly surpass competitors.
