EA Single Curved Hard Armor Plate IV ICW (SiC) is designed to fit in our Impact and Xtreme models – bullet and stab resistant vests, which you can find here. This hard armor plate is made from our strongest material, silicon carbide (SiC), which is harder and more resistant than our alumina (AL203) and polyethylene (PE) hard armor plates.

The plate has been tested against threats such as AK47 – see the test details below. It has a single curve design, which means it is delivered as one unit, ready for easy insertion into the vest. The curved shape ensures optimal fit and comfort, as the plate follows the body's natural curves. ICW (In Conjunction With) indicates that the hard armor plate should be used together with "Soft Body Armor," which refers to bulletproof vests in level IIIA, to achieve the specified level of protection. The hard armor plate weighs 2.2 kg.
