Description

The “Rhodium® VIP I” tuxedo vest is specially designed to provide extensive body coverage, extremely low visibility, and comfortable long-term wear.

It is designed to mimic a regular suit vest. It is pulled over the head and securely fastened at the back with hook & loop fasteners according to MIL-SPEC F AA-55126B requirements.

The “Rhodium® VIP I” tuxedo vest covers the front, back, neck area, and waist, with a minimum overlapping coverage width of 5 cm at the sides.

Tested under the harsh and demanding conditions of the NIJ 0101.06 standard, the used “Rhodium® SP.3A.303” soft armor plate proved to meet the requirements for level IIIA. It also provides protection against several threats such as 7.62×25 mm TOKAREV, 9×18 mm Mild Steel Core MAKAROV, and 9×19 mm HP ACTION 4, as well as against sharp objects like the S1/G knife, with a maximum perforation of under 12 mm at a force of 33 Joules according to the NIJ 0115.00 standard.
