Description

“Rhodium® Concealable III” soft armor vest is designed to provide both maximum level IIIA protection according to NIJ 0101.06 STD and protection against blades & knives, while ensuring high concealability when worn under any piece of clothing. Due to its durable rip-stop outer fabric, it can also be worn as a visible vest.

Tested under the harsh and demanding conditions of NIJ 0101.06 STD, the “Rhodium® SP.3A.303” soft armor panel was found to meet the requirements for level IIIA and was also found to provide protection not only against multiple threats such as 7.62X25mm TOKAREV, 9X18mm Mild Steel Core MAKAROV, and 9x19mm HP ACTION 4 calibers, but also against sharp tools, such as the S1/G blade, with a maximum penetration of less than 12 mm at a force of 33 Joules according to NIJ 0115.00 STD.

The unique combination of the extremely breathable RIP-STOP Dry Comfort XT® outer fabric with 3.5 mm SPACER Coolmax® fresh, moisture-wicking, and compression-recovery lining provides a lightweight final product with antibacterial and temperature-regulating properties, allowing for increased air circulation to eliminate moisture and mold growth.

“Rhodium® Concealable III” features a four-point adjustment system with elastic bands around the waist, allowing for quick and easy on and off, ensuring a perfect fit. It provides 360° coverage, while its Velcro closures meet MIL SPEC F AA-55126B requirements.

“Rhodium® Concealable III” is also available with the three-point retention system “Retaining System I”.

With an 8 mm thin panel, a weight of 2.15 kg (@ size Large), and excellent flexibility, the “Rhodium® Concealable III” soft armor vest is the ideal “dual use” choice for those who need to be discreet and want to enjoy the security that the demanding NIJ0101.06 standard provides, while also protecting against sharp tools!
