“Rhodium® Concealable II” soft armor vest is designed to provide maximum protection at level IIIA according to the NIJ 0101.06 standard, as well as protection against stabbing and cutting weapons, while ensuring high discretion when worn under any type of clothing. Thanks to the durable rip-stop outer material, the vest can also be worn as a visible (overt) vest.
Tested under the harsh and demanding conditions of the NIJ 0101.06 standard, the “Rhodium® SP.3A.303” soft armor panel has proven to meet the requirements for level IIIA and provide protection against multiple threats such as 7.62x25 mm TOKAREV, 9x18 mm Mild Steel Core MAKAROV, and 9x19 mm HP ACTION 4 calibers. Additionally, the panel also offers protection against sharp objects, including S1/G blade, with a maximum penetration of under 12 mm at a force of 33 Joules according to the NIJ 0115.00 standard.
The unique combination of the extremely breathable RIP-STOP Dry Comfort XT® outer fabric and the 3.5 mm SPACER Coolmax® lining with high moisture transport and compression recovery provides a lightweight end product with antibacterial and temperature-regulating properties. This allows for increased air circulation, which reduces moisture and inhibits fungal growth.
“Rhodium® Concealable II” is equipped with a four-point adjustment system with elastic bands at the waist, ensuring quick and easy on and off. The vest provides 360° coverage, and its hook-and-loop closures meet the requirements of MIL SPEC F AA-55126B.
“Rhodium® Concealable II” can optionally be supplied with the three-point retention system “Retaining System I”.
