Stab-resistant vests for professional protection
Our stab-resistant vests are certified according to the NIJ 0115.00 standard and protect against knife, stab, and puncture attacks. Designed for discreet wear under clothing with maximum comfort and freedom of movement — ideal for security personnel, prison officers, and police officers.
What does a stab-resistant vest protect against?
-
Knife attacks — cutting and chopping motions
-
Stab attacks — sharp objects such as knives and awls
-
Spikes — needles and ice picks (depends on protection level)
NIJ 0115.00 defines three protection levels: KR1, KR2, and KR3 for knives, as well as SP1 and SP2 for sharp objects. Our vests are available in all levels.
Stab-resistant vs. bulletproof vest — what’s the difference?
A bulletproof vest is made from soft ballistic fibers (Dyneema®/Spectra®) that stop bullets but not necessarily knives. A stab-resistant vest uses tightly woven materials or chain mail that resists stabbing. If you need both types of protection, check out our combined bulletproof and stab-resistant vests.
For whom?
Prison and correctional staff, police officers, security guards, social workers in vulnerable environments, and others who need discreet stab protection in their daily lives.
