M-Tac Pants Army Gen. II NYCO Extreme

M-Tac Army Gen.II NYCO Extreme pants combine convenience, functionality, durability, and comfort. The pants are made from durable American NYCO Extreme fabric from Brookwood (57% nylon, 43% cotton). This lightweight material is about three times more tear-resistant, ten times more breathable, and dries faster than regular NYCO fabric.

The design of this model includes inserted elastic materials in the waist area, side pockets, crotch, and around the knees. This ensures that the pants do not restrict freedom of movement: they are comfortable for jumping, running, bending, sitting, and moving over uneven terrain. The knee pad compartments are made of Cordura 500D – a super durable fabric resistant to abrasion and high stress. Thanks to the hidden elastic adjustment system, the fit can be customized for maximum comfort.

The pants are equipped with a large number of pockets, both practical and specialized: a total of ten pockets. Standard side pockets have reinforcement at the bottom for attaching a knife or flashlight clip. The back pockets close with zippers. The cargo pocket with an asymmetric flap has an extra patch pocket that can hold an M4 or AK magazine. The cargo pocket is spacious and has two pleats that allow expanding the size to carry larger items. Additionally, the cargo pocket has an extra zipper opening that provides access to the contents while sitting. At the bottom of the cargo pockets, there is mesh material for better ventilation. An elastic cord along the hem and velcro panels allow adjusting the pants' width.

Due to its unique properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical gear for the military, police, and special forces. The fabric is mainly available with linear densities of 1000D and 500D. Linear density is the ratio of the fabric's weight to its length and is measured in denier. Higher denier means thicker and heavier fabric. Cordura 1000D has a breaking strength of about 3000 N and a tear strength of about 150 N. Its abrasion resistance exceeds 50,000 cycles. It is used for clothing, bags, and pockets. MULTICAM was created as a universal camouflage for the U.S. military, effectively working against various backgrounds and in all lighting conditions and climates year-round. By exploiting human visual limitations and structure, the pattern was designed with large, blurred spots at a distance and small, rounded elements up close. NIR technology (Near Infrared) reduces detection from electro-optical sensors and light reflection, making the uniform less visible in low light.
