Besides the good ergonomics and high portability, the Type 6 is equipped with an extra fast and “explosive” flipper mechanism thanks to ball bearing inserts. When the flipper is activated, the knife opens almost instantly and is ready for use. In the open position, the flipper also functions as a finger stop, preventing the hand from sliding forward onto the blade.
