EA Single Curved Hard Armor Plate IV SA (AL203) is designed to fit in our Impact and Xtreme models – bullet- and stab-resistant vests, which you can find here. The hard armor plate is made with a high-density ceramic core of aluminum (Al2O3), supported by layered polymer composite fiber. It has been tested against, among others, AK47 – see the test details below.

The hard armor plate has a single curve design, which means it is delivered as one unit, ready for easy insertion into the vest. The curved shape ensures an optimal fit and increased comfort, as it follows the body's natural curves. SA (Stand Alone) indicates that the hard armor plate does not require a "Soft Body Armor." The hard armor plate weighs 2.6 kg.
