EA Multi Curved Hard Armor Plate IV SA (SiC) hard armor plate fits in the Impact and Xtreme models – our bullet- & stab-resistant vest, which you can find here.

The hard armor plate is made of our strongest material Silicon Carbide (SiC).

This ceramic is harder and more resistant than our Alumina (AL203) as well as Polyethylene (PE) hard armor plates.

The hard armor plate has been tested against, among others, an AK47 – see details about the test below.

The hard armor plate is a multi curve plate, which means that the plate comes as one unit for direct, easy insertion into the vest.

That the hard armor plate is curved is especially an advantage in terms of fit and comfort, as the hard armor plate will follow the body's curves.

SA (Stand alone) this means that the hard armor plate does not require a "Soft Bodyarmor"

The hard armor plate weighs 2.5 kg.

Hard armor plate has been tested against the following threats
