“Rhodium® Tactical III” is a robust overt type soft body armor vest, designed to provide both maximum level IIIA protection according to the NIJ 0101.06 standard and protection against knives and sharp objects, while ensuring a secure and optimal fit, high carrying capacity, and long lifespan.
Tested under the harsh and demanding conditions of the NIJ 0101.06 standard, the “Rhodium® SP.3A.303” soft armor plate used has proven to meet the requirements for level IIIA. It offers protection against multiple threats such as 7.62×25 mm TOKAREV, 9×18 mm Mild Steel Core MAKAROV, and 9×19 mm HP ACTION 4, as well as against sharp objects like the S1/G knife, with a maximum penetration of under 12 mm at a force of 33 Joules according to the NIJ 0115.00 standard.
The combination of CORDURA® as the outer material and 3D SPACER Coolmax® Fresh lining results in a durable yet lightweight product with antibacterial and temperature-regulating properties. The high-compression resistant 3D SPACER Coolmax® Fresh lining ensures increased air circulation, which reduces moisture and counteracts fungal growth.
“Rhodium® Tactical III” provides 360° body coverage and offers increased functionality as well as maximum carrying capacity thanks to PALS webbing (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) around the vest, where MOLLE equipment can be attached without compromising ballistic protection, comfort, or freedom of movement.
The vest features a four-point adjustment system at the shoulders and waist. Wide shoulder and waist pieces ensure a secure yet comfortable fit with optimal weight distribution. Secure closure at the shoulders with double hook-and-loop straps prevents accidental opening.
“Rhodium® Tactical III” overt type soft body armor vest has a high-strength carry handle (DRAG HANDLE) on the back, a front and a back pocket for inserting Hard Armor Plates sized 25×30 cm, loop panels on the front and back for IDs or service logos, and the hook-and-loop closures meet the requirements of MIL SPEC F AA-55126B.
