The RX2 vest is designed with bulletproof inserts on both the front and back, offering maximum protection. The inserts are integrated into the vest’s cover, which features our advanced Cool Max mesh on the inside and HYPER FLOW mesh on the outside. This combination makes the RX2 vest the most ventilated vest in the world.

Lightweight, discreet, and ideal for daily use

The RX2 vest is the lightest and thinnest on the market, making it ideal for wearing under clothing. Please note that it cannot be equipped with additional trauma plates. For protection against rifle ammunition and AK47 rounds, we recommend the Impact model, which can be equipped with trauma plates.

Flexibility and invisible security

The greatest strengths of the RX2 cover are its flexibility and discreet design. It moves with your body, allowing you to move freely, even under tight clothing. With its slim profile, the vest is almost invisible, making it ideal when protection is necessary.

UHMWPE: the material behind our bulletproof solution

UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is the material used in Elite Armor's bulletproof and stab-proof vests. This material is known for its extreme strength and light weight, making it ideal for use in bulletproof products. UHMWPE is also used in Dyneema, which is recognized for its high quality in bulletproof solutions. Since 2009, Elite Armor has used this type of UHMWPE in all their vests without receiving any complaints, underscoring the material’s reliability and durability.

Certification & safety level

All RX2 vests meet NIJ standard 0101.06 Level IIIA certification, ensuring consistent protection whether you choose the EA-TEX or Twaron material. The choice typically depends on the vest's intended use

The RX2 vest comes in two variations:

EA-TEX

EA-TEX is Elite Armor’s proprietary UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene). UHMWPE is a type of polyolefin/polymer consisting of long ballistic fibers, which are cross-woven multiple times to achieve maximum protection. Elite Armor’s EA-TEX is designed to provide both bulletproof and stab-proof protection in a single solution. This option comes with a 5-year warranty.

Twaron

Twaron aramid, produced by the company Teijin, is a para-aramid synthetic fiber. The insert is only 5 mm thick, resulting in a very flexible and extremely high-quality vest. This option comes with a 10-year warranty.

Protection against high-velocity projectiles, NIJ level IIIA

The RX2 vest meets the NIJ Level IIIA standard for firearm protection, ensuring protection against high-velocity projectiles from 9mm automatic weapons, .44 Magnum, .357 SIG, .357 Magnum, 9mm Luger, and 40 S&W.

EA-TEX: bulletproof & stab-proof

With our EA-TEX, you are stab-proof and protected against knife attacks at Level 1, 24 Joules (J), with a test pressure penetration of 0.28" (7 mm).

EA-TEX insert tested in Denmark

Additionally, the EA-TEX insert has been tested in Denmark using a large butcher knife, a survival knife, and a Stanley knife.

EA-TEX technology

The RX2 vest with EA-TEX is designed to withstand knife stabs and protects against 85% of threats. While no vest can offer 100% protection, the EA RX2 vest with EA-TEX inserts ensures a high level of security. The vest is equipped with EA’s Comfort Foam, which enhances comfort and acts as a trauma liner that distributes the energy from impacts and stabs to protect vital organs.

Effective energy management

The vest evenly distributes the energy from projectiles across its entire surface, unlike many other vests, where the energy is concentrated at a single point. This even energy distribution protects against bullet wounds and injuries to vital organs, reducing the risk of serious harm.

Care and maintenance

Elite Armor vests allow for the removal of bulletproof inserts for easy washing of the cover. You can also purchase an extra cover to ensure continuous protection. Remember to store the vest in a dry place.
