Trauma plate for mounting on the front and back of bulletproof vests. EA Single Curved Trauma Plate III ICW (PE) is designed to fit in our Impact model – a bullet- and stab-resistant vest, which you can find here. The plate is made of Polyethylene (PE), which gives it a significant advantage in terms of its very low weight. It has been tested against, among other things, the AK47 – see specific test details below.

The trauma plate is single curved, meaning it is delivered as a complete unit, ready for easy insertion into the vest. The curved shape ensures an optimal fit and increased comfort, as the plate follows the body's natural contours. Weighing only 1200 grams, this trauma plate is one of the lightest on the market within this protection level.

The trauma plate has been tested against the following threats:

• Tested against 6 shots from 7.62*39mm AK47 MSC with cartridges with a specific mass of 7.7g and an impact of 740m/s according to NIJ std 0101.06 and 5.56x45 Nato according to international tests
• 7.62x51 Nato, M80 (NIJ level 3 0101.06)
• 7.62x39 MSC, AK47 (NIJ level 3 0101.06)
